Friday Moment 5/27/11

A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from sometime ... anytime

A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember

Here's hoping you all have a happy and uneventful weather weekend!

I love it when a fast little sucker like that can be captured! Lovely!

My friend ((((Jewell))) your talent knows no bounds. (just curious, what kind of zoom could get in that close)

Nice shot....Did you take it?

How did you manage to get this close without the bee moving away? Stunning

I really like visiting you on Fridays. You always make me slow down.

Laura...thanks for stopping by! =) Glad you liked it. xo

((( Cheryl ))) Thank you. You make me blush. It was taken with my 200mm lens. =)

Hansi...absolutely! Mine. All mine! =)

Savira...The flower and the bee were actually in my horse's pasture. I was shooting through one of the holes in the fence as the flowers right on the other side of it. Glad you liked it! =)

(( BB )) Glad you have as much fun coming over for a visit on Fridays as any other. It's always a good idea just to stop and take a breath! I'm glad I can help you accomplish that! =) xo

OMG not only did you manage to take an absolutely bloody fantasic and awesomely brilliant shot, you mean to tell me you did it from a hole in the fence.

Don't tell me you were bottle feeding orphan lambs and firing rounds at trojan zombies at the same time - I just have to bow to your greatness but I have one complaint - where are my logs?

BornStoryteller said...

c'mon..tell the truth. It was dead and you glued it to the flower! :)

LMAO SJ! No...I wasn't feeling overly motivated that day. I left the zombies and the lamb feeding to the husband him to take care of! =) I swear...I am going to get a log photo that will knock your socks off. Just have to find it! =) Everytime I think of logs when we are out taking pictures I think of you though! =)

lmao - Stuart! I'm not particularly fond of bees. Unless it was one of those little pipe cleaner craft bees with the googly eyes, there's no way I would have gone that far just for a pic! =)

I was just having a conversation with my kids on the importance of bees! Great pic :) Spring is here!

Is that a bee or a wasp? Love the photos you take I might actually get a camera instead of using my dying iPhone..

Jessica thank you! And yes, spring is definitely here....in spades! =)

A...it's a bee! =) If your iPhone is dying shouldn't you replace it instead? I mean, you would look a little funny trying to talk into a camera! I don't imagine that they get great reception in most areas! =)
