A single photo – no words – capturing a moment from sometime ... anytime
A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember

Beautiful photo, Jewell. I love trying to capture insects with my camera. I'm not very good at...lol.
Bloody great pic me dear! I LURVVVE your pics.
P.S. I was going to reply to your email today and then a bastard customer asked to view my London house, so I had to hotfoot it down there to do the sales thing. And now I am (again) a million miles behind with my emails. AAAAAGGH!
Thanks Asha! =) I actually stood quite a ways from the actual bush when I took the picture. I think it was a honeysuckle bush, but the bees were crazy and I don't like bees even though I wanted to get pictures of them... I used my longest lens and the rest is cropping! =)
Annie...I lurvvve thaat you lurvve my pics =)
PS - *taps foot* You can't hide in London forever! Did you sell it, did you sell it?? =) xo Muwah
A butterfly or a moth? On a tree or a plant?
You really good at taking photos BTW
Love A
LOL - A...just a couple questions, huh? =)
1 - While I didn't bother to stick around to ask it because there were bees all over the flowers too, my unedumicated guess is moth... =)
2 - Technically neither...I think it was a honeysuckle bush. It came with the house, and I still haven't identified it, but it smells heavenly when it's blooming like this.. =)
Thanks - btw =)
A treat for my eyes that yearning to see nature in its full glory
Savira...I'm glad you liked it so much! =)
Is spring really here? I hope the our weather here cooperates. In the mean time I ca look at this. Great moment captured!
Sweepy...a week ago I would have said yes spring had sprung...this week...spring has apparently sprung somewhere else...it's freaking cold around these parts
It looks like a Spotted Skipper moth, but if you took this photo recently it is early in the season for most moths or butterflies.
Beautiful shot...can't wait for the real spring :)
Nice work kiddo.
No...this photo was taken last spring or summer. I can't find the original at the moment so I can't tell you exactly...
I can't wait until spring either...this stupid cold weather can take a flying leap at this point =) xo
Feel free to come here anytime kiddo. Spring has sprung in Houston. Nice photo. Very National Geographic.
Awww....BB - that wasn't very nice! I actually did have spring a week ago...we even hit 80's a couple of those days. This week though has been bloody cold!! Snow and sleet included!
We will have to go on a business trip down in TX somewhere in April...I'm taking the camera with me - fo sho! =)
Awww - thanks for the National Geographic comment...that is the best! I strive for that kind of awesomeness in pictures!! =) xo
